Why a Story House?

A home designed to grow with every new book.

Murphy’s Story House is more than an author page or the home of a single title. It is a place where individual stories can keep their own personalities while belonging to one thoughtful collection.

The common thread is not a character, a season, or one type of adventure. It is the belief that illustrated stories can help children recognize their feelings, understand other people, and see how small acts of care can matter.

The Story House approach

Clear words. Expressive pictures. Room to feel.

1

Respect the reader

Children can understand emotional truth when it is offered with clarity and care.

2

Let pictures speak

Expression, atmosphere, and small details give young readers more to discover.

3

Make room to talk

The best shared stories continue after the last page is turned.

4

Find the connection

A personal experience can become a doorway into empathy and community.
